Faithful to the traditions of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, Villa Maria Language Institute exists to provide a learning environment in which God is the highest value. The faculty and staff are committed to providing each student with a Catholic educational experience that promotes the learning of languages, develops the whole person, encourages an openness to varying cultures, and fosters a life-long love of learning.

 

Intensive Courses for All Levels

We offer language programs for children, adolescents and adults. Each level is a part of an overall language progress designed to move the student in a gradual progression to higher levels of proficiency.
We use the European (immersion) method of language instruction. Each student takes the following components of Language Arts:

† Grammar ♦ Conversation ♦ Composition ♦ Reading ♦ Phonics ♦ Spelling (Idioms) †

We emphasize conversation skills and pronunciation.
